WOLF AND SHADOW

WHAT’S UP: Creating traditional illustrations for the story of Wolf and His Shadow, a classic Aesop fable.

BUBBLE DIAGRAMS: Exploring different stories from Aesop’s fables, extracting different aspects, and deciding which one to further explore! Based on the title, I obviously went with Wolf and Shadow!

FIRST DRAFTS: Exploring different ways to portray the Wolf and Shadow.

ROUGH DRAFT: After deciding which three panels to use, I went ahead and drew it with graphite!

THE FINAL: Inked it up and colored it with greyscale copic markers! I ended up including some of the text from the story to help fill some of the awkward negative spaces.
